I want to start off with a big thank you to all of our readers.
Seriously, the fact that so many of you read, like, and comment is sometimes the reason we keep posting.
It is difficult to come up with quality posts every single day while still working a full time job. It means a lot to Christina and I that you gals and guys care enough to read what we have to say. You should see the smile on Christina’s face each and every time she receives a new comment. She lights up like a Christmas Tree. We really never expected the blog to grow like this and to have so many people join us every single day. We will continue to try to bring you the best writing we can. That being said, we couldn’t do it without you…literally.
We often received comments like “please do more posts like this one” or ” I wish you would write about animal crackers.” Ok, so we have never really had that comment but I feel like it’s coming. We appreciate all the feedback we receive and use it to improve our blog every single day.
We have a new feature over here at Homemade Ocean. We figured since it was so popular at that one place they call Facebook that we would try it over here. You guessed it, it’s a “like” button. Now if you like something you can literally “like” it. It’s just that easy.
Side note: I asked Christina to make the graphic for this post…it’s very girly.
We do really take every suggestion you all throw at us and run with it. We ask that if you like something, then ‘like it’. If you have something to say, tell us about it. If you find an awesome photo or graphic, ‘pin it’. We will use all of your feedback to make sure we are doing more posts that everyone loves to read instead of wasting your time with goldendoodle shenanigans.
It’s so easy to get discouraged (trust me, I know) in this world of blogging. I’m glad you’re finding the motivation to keep the wheels turning!
It sure is!!! I think it is ten times easier to get discouraged than it is to get motivated 🙂
I love all of your posts. I start my day of every morning with my coffee and your blog. There hasn’t been one post that I didn’t find interesting. Keep up the good work.

So two things… 1) Were comments turned off on the post yesterday? I wanted to comment and didn’t see the field to do so. 2) I think the starred Like button in the graphic is the wordpress Like, correct? Because all I’m seeing on this post is the facebook Like option.
Either things are going wacky or wordpress is hatin on me lately. Of course, I had my own issue yesterday so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just me!
Wait I have a third thing: I LOVE YOU GUYS! It’s better than like 😉

After Tim wrote the post and I was ready to go to bed I told him to try and “like” a post just to make sure. Low and behold we ran into ALL sorts of problems, so we actually changed the plugin after about an hour to just a facebook button! It was a bad night haha 🙂
Also, we have been messing with the comment section a little because we have been getting spammed like CRAZY but I don’t think the comment section was turned off. I am putting detective Tim on the case 🙂

Nevermind…detective Christina figured it out! The comments WERE disabled…I was surprised I didn’t get any “nut” jokes haha

Wow that is frustrating. Glad you got it figured out! I guess a facebook like is better than a WP like anyway. It was meant to be!
Hahaha…yea, I suppose but man was I fussy when he asked me to change the graphic. Obviously, I didn’t.
