Remember when I said you would be seeing some ch-ch-ch-changes around these parts?
I am not sure if you have noticed….but….
Who remembers coming home from school and cheering on the girl who got picked on in high school who is oh-so-hot now in her skimpy leather jumpsuit. That was my jam…of the peach variety.
So I called in the faithful Jenny to do a switcheroo on my little ol’ blog. And by Jenny I mean Photoshop and Redbull. I mean if we learned anything from those makeovers it’s that they are hard work, amirite?
There will still be some changes and tweaking, lots of it actually.
But what do you think so far?

Loving the new look! Great colours, much easier on the eye and I love the chevron background to match. I’m also undergoing major change with my blog too, moving platforms amongst other things, I shall see how I progress with this! 🙂

Am moving from blogger to wordpress.org, so lots of work to undertake but hopefully it will be worth it. I know it’s going to take a while to get used to everything and build up readership and posting once again 🙂
I think that is a really good move though, I am so thankful that I had a good friend (who went to school for web design and all that jazz) guide me towards starting with wordpress. I think in the end it will be worth it. Can’t wait to see it once you are all moved in 🙂
Is there a way to redirect your blogger site to your wordpress site? That might help keep your readership up…but Tim is my IT guy so I have no clue what I am really talking about. I just hear him say redirect sometimes. Might be worth a google haha!

For this post I used “KG eyes wide open” which is a free download on dafont.com If you get on dafont.com search for “KG” because she has a lot of really good fonts. I really like “KG Somebody that I used to know” also.

I’m sad BYW is over too … I’m hoping that next year I might be able to actually go to Germany for one of Holly’s workshops, finances permitting.
At the moment I’m taking a really excellent e-course, The Business of Surface Pattern Design and that’s going to keep me occupied till early next year so I’ll wait till after it to decide on whether to take another blogging course or not — and hopefully I’ll be smart enough next time to take it at a less busy time of the year for me! LOL
Ohhhh that sounds like fun! If you do go to Germany let me know and I will squeeze into your suitcase!!!!!
